End of Year Party, Woohoo

Come along and celebrate at the Gallery's End of Year Party! We will say goodbye to what was a wonderful year the only way we know how; with lots of fun art making! Celebrate over some yummy snacks and Christmas themed art and craft. We're also showing off a display of works created by High School students from Afternoon Art Club. RSVP essential and siblings welcome.

Performative mark making with Sally

When: Wednesday, 8 jan.
Time: 10am - 12pm
Ages: Children 6 years and older
Cost: $25 per child
 

Develop new skills using traditional drawing and painting materials through an exploration of contemporary performance practice.  We will map movement, space and experience, in an exploration of mark making in performance. We will be creating a series of rubbings and drawings using texture and shapes in the creative space, and using paint to document gesture and movement. A lovely way to activate the body and think about how we move in space.

Prettiest Pots

When: Tuesday 14 jan. and Wednesday, 15 jan.
Time: Tuesday, 10am - 12pm, Wednesday 10am - 11am
Ages: Children 6 years and older
Cost: $35 per child
 

Working with Sally this workshops sees you create your own personalised pot. On Tuesday you will design, paint and seal your pot and return the next day to plant a cute succulent and make it all lovely. Gift it to your fave person or keep it for your own plant loving.

Making Mosaic Clocks

When: Wednesday, 22 jan
Time: 10am - 1pm
Ages: Children 6 years and older
Cost: $40 per child
 

Using acrylic paint and foam shapes, create a mosaic on a working clock face with Sally O'Neill. Sally will guide you to design your very own pattern, and then you get to take home a working clock. Fab fun!

A morning tea break is part of this workshop so please remember to bring a snack.
