Respect for Creation

We are continuing to reflect on our school value of RESPECT, and especially in these last couple of weeks – respect for creation. At our school assembly on Monday, our Year 3 children shared their ideas about how to show respect for God’s wonderful gifts of creation.

• Say thank you to God
• Enjoy nature – have a picnic, go for a walk or bike ride
• Smell the flowers
• Do some gardening
• Try to recycle
• Use less plastic
• Care for nature – help an injured animal

Dear God,

We rejoice and give thanks for Spring,

For new life in creation all around us

And for each new day with new opportunities and new blessings

For a school term full of life, love and learning;
we give thanks.
