Principal Talk with Mrs. Lowe

Term Three Wrap-Up

As we bid farewell to another exciting and eventful Term Three, we would like to take a moment to reflect on some of the memorable activities and achievements that have taken place at our school in the past few months. It has been an action-packed term!

Year 6 Camp Adventure
This week, our Year 6 students embarked on a memorable camping adventure. They have participated in high ropes, orienteering, archery, laser tag, water slide, beach games, surfing lessons, abseiling, challenge activities, night games and had a movie night. The students are due back to school tomorrow afternoon at approximately 5.00pm.

I would like to thank Mrs. Spackman and Mrs. Skelly for accompanying and supporting the students and Mrs. Tarlinton for helping with the planning and organisation.

St Mary's Feast Day
Last week, we gathered as a school community to celebrate St Mary's Feast Day, a special occasion that reminds us of our Patron Saint Mary and how we can try to be more like Mary in our daily interactions.

Public Speaking Competitions
Our students displayed great skill and confidence during the Public Speaking Competitions. Witnessing our young speakers articulating their thoughts and ideas so passionately is inspiring. Congratulations to all participants!

Representative Athletics, Hockey, and Golf Events
Our talented athletes represented our school with grit and determination in various sports events this term. Their dedication and sportsmanship shone brightly as they competed in representative athletics, hockey, and golf events.

Professional Learning for Staff
Our commitment to providing the best education for our students remains unwavering. Our dedicated staff engaged in professional learning opportunities this term, further enhancing their skills and knowledge to benefit our school community.

Welcoming Visitors to Our School
We were delighted to welcome visitors to our school to showcase our innovative teaching and learning programs. We love sharing our passion for education and the incredible work of our students and staff.

The School Explorers Program
Our preschool friends joined us for the School Explorers Program, fostering connections between our youngest learners and our school community. The School Explorers Program will continue into Term 4 and conclude with a full orientation day on Monday, 27 November.

NAPLAN Results

We received our NAPLAN results this term and were pleased to see positive consistency across literacy and numeracy.

I would like to thank our fantastic staff and students for their hard work, dedication, and enthusiasm throughout Term Three.

A special thank you goes out to our parents for their support during the numerous events and activities this term. Your involvement and encouragement are vital in creating a thriving school community.

As we head into Term Four, we look forward to even more opportunities for learning, growth, and celebration. Together, we will continue to nurture our students' bright minds and compassionate hearts.

We wish you a restful, safe and enjoyable break.
